The Robo-01 is an electric crossover with a flat hood.

The vehicle features retractable door handles and a sloping D-pillar that help bring the drag coefficient down to 0.249, the company said.

Inside is a wide display for the driver and front passenger.

The steering wheel features only half a turntable, similar to Tesla's new Model S and X.

The drive train consists of two electric motors with a total output of 400 kW, which should ensure acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

The vehicle features the Point-to-Point Autopilot assistance system developed by Baidu. It is the first vehicle to use the Qualcomm 8295 chip and an Nvidia Orin X smart driving chip.

The trunk of the Robo-01 has a capacity of 555 liters, which can be expanded to 1,528 liters when the rear seats are folded.

The car is 4,853 mm long, 1,990 mm wide and 1,611 mm high with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.

The price for the series version of the Robo-01 is not yet known, the so-called Lunar Edition, which is to be the first to come onto the market fully equipped, will cost the equivalent of 53,000 euros.

Technical data for the Robo-02 are not yet available and the inner workings have not yet been shown.

Baidu refers to the Robo-01 for the technical parameters, so it can be assumed that the motor performance and battery size are identical.

Delivery of both models is planned for 2023.
