Samsung's Galaxy S23 series will be officially presented to the public for the first time in just over two weeks.
So far there have been plenty of leaks, but little really reliable information about the new high-end smartphones from Korea. We can now show you the Galaxy S23 in advance.
As has already been widely reported, the Samsung Galaxy S23 will come onto the market in four different colors, also used in the two more expensive variants, the Galaxy S23 Plus and S23 Ultra.
Specifically, these are the colors "Phantom Black" (black), "Botanic Green" (green), "Mystic Lilac" (pink/purple), and "Cotton Flower" (white).
The pictures we now have exclusively shown at least the basic version of the Samsung Galaxy S23 in advance.
As expected, the changes compared to the previous model series are very limited, so Samsung has only refined the design and basically simplified it further.
The camera hump is completely eliminated, which means that the lenses only protrude individually from the back of the housing. It is striking that the optics only protrude slightly from the device.
As usual, the Galaxy S23 has a metal frame combined with a glass cover. In all variants, the edge of the S23 series is also colored in the color of the back of the housing.
The material used for the S23 and S23 Plus is a high-quality aluminum variant.
As you can easily see from the pictures, the Galaxy S23 has a completely flat front and back, with only the cameras sticking out of the device at the back.
The front camera is again placed centrally below the top edge of the screen, where it is housed in a small hole.
Our pictures also show that Samsung, unlike Apple with its current iPhones, uses a slight curvature in the housing frame, probably so that the smartphones fit better in the hand.
Technical data is still scarce
We do not yet have any reliable information on the technical data of the Galaxy S23. What is certain is that the device comes with a 6.11-inch OLED display, which again offers a stretched Full HD resolution.
The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is also under the hood this year in Europe, but it is installed in a slightly faster-clocked version than all other competing products.
The launch of the Galaxy S23 and its more expensive sister models was announced by Samsung on February 1, 2023.
